The Darker The Liquor The More You Is Sicker

I sometimes use bad grammar to be stupid. The title of this post is one of those times. ANYWAYS, I just read that the darker a liquor is the more likely you are to get an awful, gut-wrenching, vomit-inducing, head-pounding hangover. This is news to me especially since my latest drink of choice is Makers on the rocks. WTF. I SWEAR I get less of a hangover when I drink this tasty bourbon compared to when I drink wine, beer, or even vodka.

According to ScienceNews, bourbon gave drinkers a more severe hangover than vodka. They then go on to say that when bourbon drinkers were compared to vodka drinkers, both parties suffered equally in terms of performing attention-requiring tasks, such as driving. Honestly, I could care less about that. I drive like I’m drunk when I’m sober anyways. All I want to know is what is going to give me less of a headache.

Overall, the bourbon drinkers reported feeling shittier than the vodka drinkers, in terms of headache, nausea, and loss of appetite. One reason could be that bourbon contains 37 times more toxic compounds than vodka. So they say, the clearer the liquor, the less you is sicker. The scientists. That’s exactly what they said, word for word. Their grammar apparently isn’t as good as mine.

Point of the story: I’m going to drink bourbon anyways and no one can stop me. The end.
